Posturing leaves a bad taste in my mouth;

Democrats threatened to boycott the Iraqi PMs visit, and Howard Dean called him an anti-semite because he refused to condemn Hezbollah, and here's the thing, he's a damn politician. In his part of the world, with his political base, he can't. And the fact that Dems are using that to make themselves seem more pro-Israel, I dunno, it rubs me the wrong way.

In other news:

Exxon makes $80,000 a minute

The US wants Poland to provide a military base with no oversight and legal immunity

President Bush ignores history and reality and blames Iran for the middle east's plight

and, On the heels of his failing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Bush eyes sending 30,000 troops to Lebanon
