Dear Patrick,
Are you the Patrick Duggan who featured at the Cantab Lounge in 2003, and whose fabulous chap-book 'Laughter Follow the Toast" contains lines like 'My life is a charcoal sketch of a door mat lost in the mail' and 'I...am a canvas carving of a girl whose eyes are a photograph of street without cars'...? I have long been an anonymous admirer of yours and would like to see/hear your recent work. I am not, unfortunately, a pretty girl; merely a bald fool greedy for poetry. If you still sometimes go to the Cantab Lounge, or are the feature poet at some venue in the near future, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know. Prabakar.
