Missed Connections

To the waitress at [redacted] with the Irish accent and skinny jeans; I couldn't take my eyes off of you when you were tossing streamers in the bar and making the decorations the bar tender lobbed everywhere actually look good. My friend tried to flirt with you for me, and all I could manage was to have a happy new year on the way out. The next time I stop in for a pint I won't make the same mistake. Maybe I can buy you a drink when your shift is over?
